New meetings and discoveries lie ahead
The centenary year of Ülo Sooster lasted not 12, but 16 months. And it concluded last week with the closing of the exhibition “Sooster-100. A View from Private Collections.”
After the number 100 comes the no less appealing number 101. Ahead lie new encounters with the artist’s work in Estonia and beyond. And we hope, new discoveries…

«Он всегда говорил: «О, если бы я жил в Париже… Я работал бы дворником. Промел поутру свой участок - и сиди себе в кафе на Монмартре и рисуй парижанок. А можно рисовать берега Сены в дождливый день, и это напоминало бы мне Эстонию. Бродил бы себе по Лувру и по д’Орсе, глазел на вечернюю золотую Эйфелеву башню. Но это вначале, а потом - работа, работа…»
