The passion to create
The fact that, for Ülo, the act of creation itself was the most important—while the fate of what was created took a back seat—is confirmed by the generosity with which he gave away his drawings. Whether hosting guests at his own home or visiting others, he would give away two, sometimes five drawings at a time. Yet despite this, the stack of his drawings and sketches never seemed to grow smaller. His wild creative passion kept producing more and more new works.
