People who speak different languages do not understand each other. They need an interpreter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The language of art is universal and requires no translation. By definition, it unites, offering a new perspective on the familiar, connecting rather than dividing people...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Israel, Mr. Veikko Kala, spoke at the opening of the exhibition of artists Tenno Sooster and Sergey Bun\u2019kov at the Museum of Biblical Lands in Jerusalem. He was particularly impressed by the Finno-Ugric motifs in the etchings dedicated to the letters of the Hebrew alphabet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing this idea, we decided to place side by side photographs of a graphic work by the Estonian classic Kaljo P\u00f5llu and an etching by Tenno Sooster and Sergey Bun\u2019kov. Created at different times and in different countries, these works of art engage in an intriguing dialogue with one another. And they unite us today...<\/p>\n\n\n\n
